Dear Selina,
I feel the deep love between you and Mahonyha that radiates to my heart and supports my own journey through grief towards healing. My heart rests with yours, dear friend. Mahonyha will be missed.
In times of loss, my experience is that grief resides side by side with an opportunity to embrace something larger that ourselves, and we are invited to open our hearts to discover the width and breadth of our hearts and that shared place we are born from that hurts when another hurts, to experience love as a place where the divine and human presence ebb and flow into each other, to hold one another with as much tenderness as we would like to be held and to celebrate the cycle of life that weaves us together.
May the trust and grace Mahonyha emanated through her passing offer guidance and comfort with each step forward for you and your beautiful family. I celebrate her life, her wisdom, and her particular gifts that are her legacy to the world.
May Mahonyha find her place with the moon birds.
